This page explains how this website uses cookies and similar technologies, the categories we distinguish, and how you can manage your choices. It reflects how consent is currently handled in our consent banner.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website can store on your device. Similar technologies — such as your browser’s local storage — can store information in the same way. We use these technologies to make the site work, to remember your preferences and, with your consent, for analytics and marketing.

Your cookie choice itself is saved in your browser’s local storage so the consent banner can remember it on your next visit.

2. Cookie categories

We group cookies and similar technologies into the following categories, matching the choices in our consent banner:

Necessary

Required for the website to function and to remember your cookie choice. These cannot be switched off.

Functional

Remembers preferences such as your language and whether prices are shown for private or business customers. In the current consent banner these are treated as always-on.

Analytics

Helps us understand how the website is used. Loaded only after you consent to analytics.

Marketing

Used for advertising and marketing signals. Loaded only after you consent to marketing.

3. Consent management

On your first visit, a consent banner asks how we may use cookies and similar technologies. You can choose “Accept all”, “Reject all”, or open “Settings” to allow Analytics and/or Marketing individually. Necessary items are always active.

Until you make a choice, non-essential technologies are blocked: using Google Consent Mode, a default “denied” consent state is set before any tags can load, and tags are only enabled once you grant the matching consent.

Your choice is stored on your device, so the banner remembers it on return visits.

4. Analytics and marketing technologies

Analytics and marketing technologies are managed through Google Tag Manager, which only loads after you consent to Analytics or Marketing. Through it, tags run only after you have given the corresponding consent; if you do not consent, none are loaded.

When you consent to Analytics, we use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-CL7DY5MH4D), loaded via Google Tag Manager, to understand how the site is used. With Analytics consent it sets analytics cookies such as _ga and _ga_* on your device; with consent denied, no such cookies are set. We do not currently run any additional advertising or personalization technology through the tag manager.

5. Managing your preferences

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer, which re-opens the consent banner so you can adjust or withdraw Analytics and Marketing. Withdrawing consent takes effect immediately.

You can also delete or block cookies and local storage directly in your browser settings. Note that disabling necessary items may affect how the site works.
